Tools for Screwing
Screwdrivers and screws are a great method for joining timber and excellent next step from joining timber with hammer and nails. Stubby screwdrivers are a short type of screwdriver and perfect for young children to learn to drive screws with.
There’s a wide variety of drive systems in the hardware world. The common types are flat/slotted, Phillips, Pozi and square/Robertson. We recommend square drive as best for children as is the drive system that is least likely to slip out. Phillips is common but should be avoided as it slips out much more that the similar looking Pozi drive.
