We purchased two of the Stubby Claw hammers for our 9 & 5yr old moko & they love using them. Easy to grip & use. Kia ora!

It’s a brilliant shape and size even for preschool children

My five year old grandson was able to hold it OK. And it will obviously be useable for him, handle size wise, for another 5 to 10 years. But perhaps a little light in weight. After a cm or two, the nails aren't going much deeper. Though perhaps I just need to tell him to keep his fingers well clear, and give it a solid whack. Though the ability to add extra weight to the hammer might also be useful (if this were possible).

Really good quality grip, not too heavy or too light, both my kids (2 and 6) love using this and find it super easy to hammer with!
